Brother Ali Mourning In America and Dreaming In Color

Inspired by a recent trip to Mecca, American rapper Jason Newman(1977) decided to create his fifth full length album during a two-month exile. Brother Ali's Mourning in America and Dreaming in Color, produced by  Jack One( De La Soul, Snoop Dogg, ...), was released on September 18.

Known for using music as a therapeutic expression of personal experiences and ideas, the MC raps about his son's mother(All You Need), drugs( Need a Knot), the music industry( Won More Hit), violence and murder( Mourning in America) and social issues as unemployment, poverty and the economic crisis ( Work Everyday and Only Life I know).

This brother's philosophical record is all about cultural criticism, American consciousness, genuine hope and idealism.
