Inside out art project: JR provides public art possibilities

French street artist JR, known for his large black and white portrait pastes, initiated the Inside Out project after having won the TED Prize in 2011.

This global participatory art project includes the public in the artistic process. JR gives the public the opportunity to show their identities, to share their experiences and express their views on social issues in an idealistic attempt to change the world.

Participants are asked to paste their portraits in their own community. All of these worldwide interactions are being documented.

An amazing multimedia concept to offer random people a platform for sharing stories and expressing personal messages.

Beejoir does what he likes best

Beejoir, LV child
Beejoir, a British street artist whose pseudonym derives from a nickname, has been living in Thailand for over a decennium, where anti graffiti laws are non existent. This is where he founded the Souled Out Studios print house in 2004.

Although he was thrown out of art class at the age of 14, Beejoir felt the need to express his thoughts and indeed street art was the easiest way to do so. Recurring meaningful themes include politics, world affairs, religion and consumerism. A versatile artist who strongly dislikes the hidden-meaning concept.

His oeuvre includes paintings, prints, sculptures, photos, wheat pastes and stencils. His pieces are marked by rich contrasting colors and juxtaposed imagery.

There's nothing greater than doing what you love every day of your life.

Menno wins Unbreakable World Championship 2013

Menno Van Gorp started dancing at the age of 12 after having seen Run DMC's “It’s Like That” video. Besides break dancing he gives workshops and organizes events.

The energetic Dutch b boy was one of the sixteen selected b boys who battled each other at the Lotto Arena on April 20th.

Thanks to his unique style the Hustle Kids crew member won the Unbreakable World Champion title for the second time in a row.

Menno's a true hip hop culture adept who misses the old school break dancing scene with MC's, scratching DJ's and beat boxers.
