10 Years of Wooster Collective: 2003–2013 gathered works by street artists such as Shepard Fairey, JR, The London Police, Space Invader, Eltono, Faith47, Above, Aiko, Faile and Blek Le Rat in the Jonathan LeVine pop up gallery.

Wooster Collective founders Sara and Marc Schiller acted as curators for this group exhibition. The Wooster Collective was founded in 2001. The Schillers' devotion to promote street art has proven to be essential in the documentation and the embodiment of the street art movement.

This impressive urban collection of wheat-pastes, silk-screens, outdoor murals and installations, canvasses, photographs was not to be witnessed in its original context but the wide array of expressive forms to convey socio cultural messages remains tangible.

Songs for a healthier America

First lady Michelle Obama releases a hip hop album entitled Songs for a healthier America in co operation with the Let's Move! campaign, the Partnership for a Healthier America and the Hip Hop Public Health Foundation.

The nineteen tracks performed by a variety of artists as Doug E Fresh, Run DMC and Ashanti should encourage children to exercise regularly and eat healthy food. Ten music videos accompanying tracks like We like vegetables, Veggie Luv, U R What You Eat, Get Up Sit Up or Let's move will be distributed to American schools.

In 2010 Obama formed the Let’s Move! campaign, which promotes healthy lifestyles in an attempt to fight childhood obesity.

Songs for a healthier America is set for free download on the 30th of September. Funny musical messages children can dance upon and sing along with are ideal means to reach every layer of society.
